3 Suspects Arrested for Attempted Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer

Osceola County - On August 1, 2015 at approximately 1:02 am, Osceola County Sheriff's deputies responded to 947 Emerald Green Court in reference to an armed disturbance. Deputies were advised more than 100 people were attending a house party at the location.

Upon arrival, deputies observed at least 50 cars on the street and numerous individuals leaving the residence. As deputies were investigating this incident, they received a call that a deputy was attempting to conduct a traffic stop on a car that left the party, when occupants in the car began firing shots at his vehicle.

Arrington's Tantrum As Chair Distasteful, County's Bonds Approved BUT New York Gets $110 Million DOD Grant, Saint Cloud Woes Continue........more

It was a very entertaining BOCC meeting on Monday, the 20th. Several people were in attendance when, after the meeting was underway, when someone seated in a back row (yes, it was crowded) called out and said, "we can't hear you", to the current Chairman, Brandon Arrington. He abruptly sat up in his seat and almost swallowed the microphone while speaking so loudly he couldn't be understood. As though he made his point, he simply stated people in the back shouldn't talk while matters were being discussed by the BOCC and speakers were talking. WHY he chose to make himself look badly by his actions is known ONLY to him. Audience members who were seated closer were stunned, as well as offended. Said one unidentified fellow after the meeting, "what the heck was he trying to prove?" by yelling.
After that incident, he later looked completely silly after a vote which turned down applicant Tommy Tompkins' attempt to gain approval for a senior citizen/over 55 condo unit.
Those voting in favor of the project, Commissioners Hawkins and Janeer, said they'd be concerned about what would come next. Rather than seeking the permission for the condos, the developer could possibly build 24 single family homes, which would create much more vehicular traffic, as well as creating an additional drain on public services in the area. Mr. Arrington declared a conflict of interest due to a family member's involvement.

Saint Cloud Water Department, SunRail Hires Buddy Dyer's Former Press Aid With YOUR Money, Clerk Ramirez Saga Continues...................

Quite the build-up in the Heading but this blog takes a look at some current conditions, along with candidates and those in office today who should, or should NOT remain in any office, no matter what.

First thing we'd like to cover is the complete ignorance of the Saint Cloud City Council (minus 1 member) who refuse to answer legitimate questions, who have the nerve to actually scold and even yell at their bosses, who just happens to be some of you! It all began back about a month, actually longer, but when the city Council insisted on giving the former city manager, Tom Hurt, a significant pay raise. Mr. Hurt addressed the Council saying he did not seek such a raise but some council members, including some of whom were completely in favor of his termination, insisted he take the raise. Having no choice, he did and said his thanks. A week or two later, at a council meeting, three members decided to terminate the manager. Why? Well, three of them had several reasons, one council member, Mr Shroyer seemed to believe he was Perry Mason in an attempt to present his case, tiring most, including his two buddies on the council. To this day, he FAILED to ever get to his point, and now that the city is facing some financial challenges many of them, along with several people who probably wouldn't know their butts from their elbows!
