Osceola County – On January 19, Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested Fernando Lacot-Torres and charged him with 1 count of Promoting a Photo/Movie of Sexual Performance by a Child.
The investigation began in July of last year when detectives identified a computer with an IP address that was linked to child pornography. Yesterday afternoon, detectives executed a search warrant at Torres' residence located at 627 Royalty Court in Poinciana and took into evidence various electronic devices.
Detectives located Torres at his place of work, Star Island Resort located at 5000 Avenue of the Stars in Kissimmee.
Torres cooperated with the investigation and based on his statements and the evidence, Torres was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail. The investigation is on-going, with additional charges pending.

Osceola County – Osceola County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help identifying two armed robbery suspects. The investigation began this morning at approximately 3:44 a.m. when deputies responded to Circle K located at 808 Buenaventura Boulevard in Kissimmee.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the employee who indicated he was in the back office when an unknown male approached him at gunpoint. He took him to the cash register and demanded money. While this was occurring a second suspect entered the store and began taking store merchandise.
Both suspects left with merchandise and an undisclosed amount of money.
The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with a medium build, approximately 5'5” - 6'0” tall. He was wearing a gray and black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, dark pants and white and black basketball style shoes.
The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with a medium build, approximately 5'8”-6'0” tall. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with white stripes running down the arm sleeve.
He was also wearing a black ski mask, white knit beanie style hat with dark colored stripes, dark gray or black jeans and basketball style shoes that had red/orange accents.

Osceola County (January 4, 2016) – Osceola County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery. The investigation began on January 1, 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m. when deputies responded to a neighborhood in Poinciana. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victims who indicated they were walking in the area of the Darby Drive.
They had their 6-month old daughter with them in a stroller. An unknown black male approached them and asked for marijuana. The victims told him they did not have any and continued walking. A few minutes later, the victims heard a noise and saw the suspect holding a gun. He pointed the gun toward the baby and demanded their cell phones. The suspect fled the area with the victims' cell phones.
He was last seen running towards Marigold Avenue.
The victims describe the suspect as a black male in his 20's, approximately 6'0” tall with short dreadlocks. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants and Jordan slippers with socks.
