UPDATE:
Jermaine Jones is currently in custody and is being questioned by Kissimmee Detectives. Jones turned himself in to the Kissimmee Police Department this morning.

In case you missed Carl Cricket’s bulletin about the homicide suspect Jermaine Jones, we have moved this to the front page.

The Kissimmee Police Department is seeking any and all information leading to the arrest of Jermaine Jones in connection to the homicide of Mario Small on June 12th, 2008 at approximately 8:00PM.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Mario Small.

The Kissimmee Police have released this bulletin:

Kissimmee, Fla. (June 23, 2008) – The Kissimmee Police Department has identified and obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect involved in the shooting death of 15-year-old Mario Small Jr.

Jermaine Jones (D.O.B. 9/12/1979) is wanted for the shooting death of Mario Small Jr. While committing an armed robbery, Jones shot and killed 15-year-old Mario Small Jr. Jones has an extremely lengthy criminal history and is to be considered armed and dangerous. Jones is known to frequent the Apopka area in Orange County.

The Kissimmee Police Department is still seeking information on an additional suspect in the above case. The composite sketch of the second suspect has been provided.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jermaine Jones or the identity of the second suspect is asked to call the Kissimmee Police Department at 407-846-3333, by email at seeitsayit@kissimmee.org or by contacting CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477). Crimeline is offering a $5,000 reward.
