ST. CLOUD – A state prisoner who escaped Thursday from a work release program has been caught after a man hunt that locked down nine Osceola County schools ended in his capture.

The lockdown was lifted shortly after 1:15 p.m. Friday, when authorities caught up with Michael France at a Canoe Creek Church.
