Osceola County (January 6, 2015) – Osceola County Sheriff's deputies are looking for Clifton Chad McClung, 28, a 3-month employee with Maingate Transportation.
The investigation began on January 5 at approximately 10:20 p.m. when deputies responded to the area of Cheers Pub located at 3498 Polynesian Boulevard after receiving a call from Maingate Transportation regarding McClung, one of their taxi drivers.
The Maingate dispatcher told deputies McClung activated the emergency button in his vehicle. The dispatcher attempted to contact McClung by phone, radio and his computer, but were unsuccessful. The dispatcher indicated the GPS in his vehicle was also turned off, but said McClung would occasionally turn it off when he did not want to take calls for service.
Walter Lane Staples, a registered sex predator, currently on state probation, is charged with 37 counts of Lewd & Lascivious Molestation.
Osceola County – The investigation began in mid-November when a victim came forward alleging Staples inappropriately touched her on numerous occasions.
The 11-year old victim told deputies Staples frequently did maintenance work at her mother's residence in Campbell City. On several occasions when the victim was 10-years old, Staples inappropriately touched her. She also said, he may have inappropriately touched her two younger siblings, ages 6 and 7.
Joshua Arce-Sanchez and Radchnet Nada Alvarado arrested for and charged with Aggravated Child Abuse and Child Neglect with Great Bodily Harm today.
Osceola County – On January 4 at approximately 6:12 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff's deputies responded to Massai Worship Center located at 2824 Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with an individual who was watching a friend's 4-year old son when she noticed bruises on the child.
When she asked him about the bruises, he told her a family member, identified as Joshua Arce-Sanchez, hurt his neck and hit him in the mouth because he would not take a bath. He also said his head hurt after another family member hit him.
Deputies observed injuries to his eye, legs and back area and contacted the Department of Children and Families to respond.
Deputies made contact with the victim's mother and Sanchez who both met with investigators. The victim's mother, Radchnet Nada Alvarado, initially told deputies she disciplined the child by spanking him, which left the bruises. Eventually, she told them she lied so that Sanchez would not get into trouble.
Openings for January 13 Self-Defense Awareness Program for Women
Osceola County - The Osceola County Sheriff's Office has openings for a self-defense awareness program for women scheduled for January 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Self Defense Awareness Familiarization Exchange or SAFE is designed to educate women on how to protect themselves if they should become a victim.
