Osceola County – On October 26 at approximately 11:19 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff's deputies attempted to stop a vehicle driving recklessly on the Turnpike headed southbound. The driver, later identified as Pedro Antonio Rodriguez refused to stop for deputies and continued driving.
Eventually, the driver stopped after deputies deployed spike strips which caused a tire to deflate. When deputies approached the driver, Rodriguez appeared to be intoxicated. Deputies located open beer containers on the passenger side of the vehicle.
St. Cloud, FL - On October 31st, 2015, the St. Cloud Police Department will host a charity “spook-tacular” event: Halloween Fright-K, a family fun filled 5k run/walk and Pet Costume Contest.
The run/walk includes “trick or treat” candy spots throughout the course for the kids to collect Halloween candy.The event also includes a Pet Halloween Costume Contest. All are invited to attend, kids 12 years old and under are free.
Friends, family, the community and the local media are invited to attend the Halloween festivities.
100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards the St. Cloud Citizen’s Foundation (501c charitable organization) to benefit St. Cloud Police Officers & City Employees in need.
So, come out dressed in your Halloween costume and support your local charity and community.

Osceola County – Osceola County Sheriff's deputies need the public's help in locating Charles Joseph Miller. A neighbor reported him missing last night at 10:15 p.m. Miller, who resides at 1550 Parkgate Drive in the Good Samaritan Retirement Village was last seen on October 20 at 11:00 p.m. when he was going to Florida Hospital after his wife was being admitted for a medical procedure.
Mr. Miller's wife told deputies he never came to the hospital and that he is very forgetful, possibly in the early stages of dementia. A family friend indicated Mr. Miller seemed depressed recently due to the loss of a family friend.

St. Cloud, FL – On 10/21/15, at approximately 1702 hours, members of the St. Cloud Police Department responded to a vehicle (Blue Jeep SUV) vs. pedestrian traffic crash investigation at the intersection of SR500 (13th Street) and California Avenue.
