Osceola County – On October 12, Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested Raymond Sutherland and his wife, Debbie Sutherland.
Raymond was charged with Battery on a Person Over 65 Years Old, Aggravated Battery on a Person Over 65 Years Old, Aggravated Abuse of an Elderly Person and Neglect of an Elderly Person with Great Harm. Debbie was charged with Battery on a Person Over 65 Years Old.
The investigation began in mid-September when deputies took a report regarding an 81-year old female who was recovering at a temporary medical rehabilitation center in Kissimmee.
The victim told deputies she had fallen in her bedroom and asked her son, Raymond, on several occasions for assistance. She lost consciousness and when she woke up, she lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
Osceola County – On October 3, Osceola County Sheriff's deputies responded to Liberty High School located at 4250 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who indicated he was on the field refereeing a sophomore league football game for the Central Florida Athletic Association.
A call was made that upset several parents and coaches and they began arguing about it on the field. One of the coaches, identified as Leo Davis, struck the referee in the face before leaving the area.
The referee sustained minor injuries. Several other witnesses corroborated the referee's story.
Deputies were able to locate Davis as he attempted to leave the school driving his vehicle at a high rate of speed. Deputies took Davis into custody and he told them he pushed the referee in an attempt to separate individuals who were fighting.
A witness had the incident recorded (see video below) and after deputies viewed the video, they determined it contradicted Davis' account of the incident.
Osceola County – On September 3, 2015 at approximately 6:04 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Central Motel located at 4698 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, they spoke with motel management who indicated multiple witnesses saw Robert Souza walk around the motel without clothes on. They also said he was leaving his curtains open exposing himself while people walked by his room. Deputies spoke with at least 3 motel guests who confirmed this information.
Osceola County (August 3, 2015) - On August 2 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff's deputies responded to Bank of America located at 700 Celebration Avenue in Celebration. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who indicated she was at her residence in Kissimmee with her two children ages 3 and 7.
Her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Daniel Rodriguez, came to the residence and one of her children allowed him in the house. When she saw Rodriguez, she asked him to leave and he refused.
They became involved in a physical altercation.
